Step #1 - Book a Story Discovery Call

We’ll talk through your story, our recording process, and pricing; answer all your questions; and, if you're ready to move forward, get your recording date booked in our calendar.

Step #2 - Film your story - Unscripted

After a pre-interview call, with your list of stories you want to tell, I will interview you on camera. Through a guided, relaxed conversation, we capture your story naturally and authentically.

Step #3 - Receive Your Legacy Film

In a few weeks, you'll receive a beautifully edited film your family will treasure for generations.

Are the recording sessions in person or virtual?

Some stories are captured in person. Others are captured virtually.

What matters most is that you feel comfortable and heard.

On our discovery call, we’ll explore both options and choose the one that fits your situation best.

No matter how we record, we take great care to make sure your story is preserved clearly, beautifully, and with intention.

How long does the recording session take?

There’s no rush — your story sets the pace.

Most recording sessions last between 90 minutes and 3 hours, with breaks as needed. The exact length depends on how much you’d like to share and whether additional questions are needed to tell your story fully.

Some people know exactly what they want to say.
Others discover more as the conversation unfolds.

Either way, we take the time needed to capture your story thoughtfully and without pressure. We’ll guide the conversation, pause when needed, and make sure everything important has space to be shared.

Our goal isn’t to “get through” a session —
it’s to tell your story completely and honestly

What do I need to prepare before recording?

Very little—and we’ll guide you.

You don’t need a script or notes unless you want them.

At least 7 days before the session, we’ll send you a list of questons to help you think through key moments, memories, or messages you’d like to include.
We'll also include a checklist for everything you need before recording.

After that, the recording itself is a natural conversation.

Many people are surprised by how easy it feels once we begin. Our role is to guide the conversation so your story unfolds naturally and comfortably.genres.

What if I'm not comfortable on camera?

You're not alone. Just remember that. this isn’t a performance or an interview—it’s a guided conversation. We create a relaxed, pressure-free environment and move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Most people forget the camera is even there.

Can family members be included?

Yes—if that feels right for your story.

Some films focus on one person. Others include conversations with a spouse, children, or loved ones. We’ll discuss what makes the most sense for your story during your call. If they are at the same location, we will film them at the same time.

What will my Legacy Film include?

Every Legacy Film is unique, but typically includes:

your life story and meaningful moments
reflections on family, love, and values
lessons learned
messages for future generations

We’ll shape the film around what matters most to you.

How long is the final film?

The finished film is usually 10–20 minutes, depending on the story and what’s shared.

The goal isn’t length—it’s meaning.
We edit with care to preserve the heart of your story.
Plus...you'll get folders to all the raw footage, categoriezed by topic.

Will I get a copy to share with my family?

Yes.

Your Legacy Film is delivered digitally so it can be easily shared with children, grandchildren, and future generations.
